This document provides some frequently asked questions about Sandra. Please read the Help File as well!

Q: How soon does Sandra get updated?
A:
Every 2-4 months.

Q: The updater says I don't have a valid version?
A:
The updater computes the file signature and compares it with its version database in order to check that it is the right file to be patched and that it is valid. There are a number of programs (e.g. virus checkers, compressors, code alignment, auditing, licensing checkers, etc.) that modify the executable which causes it to fail the check. These programs may interfere with the check itself and cause it to malfunction even if the file itself has not been modified.

Q: How am I supposed to run the Wizard if Sandra does not start???
A:
Now you can download and apply the patches manually, please refer to the Download Page.

Q: I lost my copy entirely. Where can I download a complete new copy?
A:
You will need to refer to the point-of-purchase for a replacement at their option. We cannot send replacements as we do not hold customer data. Please remember that it is your responsability to make backups if you did not buy the product on media - as the installer warns you.

Q: Why, oh, why can't you allow complete downloads? I'm getting sick and tired of these patches!
A:
The security and bandwidth implications make this option unfeasible at this time.

Q: How do I update my Sandra?
A:

Q: Where are the patches for Sandra Standard/Advanced?
A:
Patches have not and will never be issued for the free/shareware versions, only the commercial versions.
